Annie Child

Project Manager

  • Can you share a memorable project you've worked on at Natay Construction and why it stands out? A very memorable project I have worked on was a home in Old Town Park City. We did a complete "gut" and remodel of the home and added an additional floor. What made it memorable was the different challenges we faced along the way and the solutions we used to overcome them. From having to tear out foundation and repour footings and foundation walls, all the way to finding a creative solution to move a beautiful 400 plus pound tub in place up stairs and around tight corners. The logistics of the project required me to think out of the box to manage the comings and goings of subcontractors and materials on a steep road in the middle of winter. But we made it happen and the home turned out beautiful!

  • What is your role at Natay Construction, and how do you contribute to the team’s success?  I am the Project Manager. I take the client's vision and build the "foundation" of the project before it  starts. I work closely with the client, our many vendors and subcontractors to build a budget and schedule. Once a project has started, I stay closely involved with the project by working with our Superintendent to ensure we stay on schedule and within budget. When the "unknowns" happen (and they do!), the Superintendent and I work together, get creative and find solutions to keep costs down and the project moving forward.

  • What is your favorite part of the renovation process, and why? During my time as the Superintendent I really enjoyed the "rough in" process when we have framing, plumbing, electrical, etc. all happening. I like seeing the bones of the different scopes of work and then understanding how each one works. Seeing those scopes of work come together during finish, was very satisfying. Now, as the Project Manager, I really enjoy working with the subcontractors on their estimates and understanding the cost behind the work.

  • What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve received from a homeowner? After completing a total home renovation in Park City, the client offered their beautiful new home to my family and I to come stay and use their home for a vacation.

  • When you're not working on construction projects, how do you spend your free time? If I'm not working on a construction project, I'm with my family. I love just being with my wife and our daughter. We love a good drive in the mountains, catching a movie and playing video games.

  • Can you share a memorable project you've worked on at Natay Construction and why it stands out? One of my most memorable projects involved replacing a rooftop air conditioning unit using a crane. Watching the old unit come down and the new condenser being carefully lifted to the roof was an exciting, uncommon experience. It also stands out because I helped close part of the road and directed traffic with our Project Manager, Annie Child.

  • What is your role at Natay Construction, and how do you contribute to the team’s success?  At Natay Construction, my role is to connect with homeowners and commercial building owners interested in renovations. As the first point of contact, I guide prospects through their initial inquiries and help them understand the next steps in both the pre-construction and construction phases.

  • What do you think sets Natay Construction apart from other contractors in the area? What sets Natay Construction apart is our dedication to luxury craftsmanship and personalized service, ensuring every project is tailored to the client’s vision. We provide transparent budgets and timelines upfront, giving homeowners confidence throughout the renovation process. Our commitment to detail and staying on time and within budget makes us a trusted partner for high-end home transformations.

  • What is your favorite part of the renovation process, and why? My favorite part of the renovation process is seeing the transformation come to life—from the initial vision to the final reveal. I enjoy working closely with homeowners, making sure every detail aligns with their dream, and witnessing their excitement as their space takes shape. The satisfaction of delivering a beautifully crafted, high-end result that exceeds client expectations is incredibly rewarding.

  • What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve received from a homeowner? We recently completed a stunning primary bathroom renovation for one of our clients, and she couldn't be more thrilled with the result. She shared that it turned out even better than she had imagined, with the gorgeous tile and European shower glass becoming her favorite features. Hearing feedback like this reminds us why we’re so passionate about what we do—creating spaces that not only meet but exceed our clients' dreams.

President/Owner

  • Can you share a memorable project you've worked on at Natay Construction and why it stands out?  One project that sticks with me was this one where we tore a house in half, added a whole new section, and put a giant roof over everything. The family lived there the whole time, so we had to be extra careful! We had it all planned out, and even the neighbors who were skeptical at first were amazed how fast we got it done.

  • What is your role at Natay Construction, and how do you contribute to the team’s success? I'm the owner and the one always looking ahead, dreaming up how we can make construction better. I believe we can change the whole industry, making it more organized and predictable. One awesome project at a time!

  • What do you think sets Natay Construction apart from other contractors in the area? You know how sometimes in construction things go wrong and people just shrug? We don't do that! We've figured out how to avoid those problems. We really listen to our clients and make the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

  • What is your favorite part of the renovation process, and why? I love the moment when we switch from tearing things down to building them back up. You can really start to see the homeowner's vision come to life, and everyone's working together. It's magic!

  • What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve received from a homeowner? It's when people tell us how fast we work! We don't rush, but we're efficient, and it always seems to surprise people. It's awesome to finish a project and know we've blown them away.

  • What do you enjoy most about working on luxury home renovations? I sincerely love seeing the transformation in function and design to fit the clients and their lives.

  • What’s the most rewarding feedback you’ve received from a homeowner?  Perhaps the most rewarding feedback is when I am told they love the end result and that my work made the process much easier and less stressful.

  • What’s a skill or quality you bring to the team that customers may not know about? Time management is a high priority to me because wasting time is wasting money, no matter who is paying or who is getting paid.

  • When you're not working on construction projects, how do you spend your free time? I love spending time wiith my family, traveling, and hopefully eating some good food.
